Replace Battery Cover

Sticky Tray

PS2 and PS2 Slims are known to have what’s now affectionately called a ‘Sticky Tray.’ People have found that by jiggling the tray around a little it will open and close like normal, but this isn’t the best fix. Sticky Tray’s usually mean that your PS2 tray motor has moved. This movement can cause stress to the motor and surrounding parts and if not addresses can burn out the entire drive. Our techs are masters when it comes to re-aligning PS2 motors, and they’ll even clean the dust and grime build-up around the motor!
